Lauryn Tully received her bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University and her juris doctorate from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. There, Ms. Tully graduated as a member of The Order of the Barristers, given to a select group of graduating seniors being recognized for their performance in trial advocacy, grades, and involvement on campus.
Ms. Tully’s entire education and schooling has been dedicated to advocacy and criminal defense. While attending law school she obtained experience working on clients’ behalf with the Yolo County Public Defender’s Office and The Office of the Federal Public Defender’s in the Eastern District of California.
During Ms.Tully’s final year of law school, she was asked to join the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office. Working as a public defender, she handled both misdemeanor and felony dockets where she aggressively advocated for her clients. After working for the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office, Ms. Tully joined a private criminal defense firm in Colorado Springs as an associate attorney. There, Ms. Tully expanded her experience,taking on cases throughout Colorado and its surrounding cities and counties.
Ms. Tully has represented hundreds of clients facing a variety of criminal charges and revocation matters, included but not limited to: domestic violence, juveniles, assault, harassment, DUI/DWAI, theft, burglary, trespassing, attempted murder, child abuse, sex offenses and various traffic offenses. In addition, Ms. Tully has represented many military members facing criminal charges, as well as, individuals who live out of the state of Colorado charged with a crime here.
During her time in Colorado, Lauryn has enjoyed getting involved and supporting local communities. Lauryn has participated in judging and coaching mock trial competitions for various education levels, including coaching at the high school level in Colorado Springs. Lauryn is a member of various bar associations in the state of Colorado, has been a member of Pueblo's chamber of commerce,and enjoys supporting various non-profits within the state of Colorado. Specifically Lauryn was a sponsor to Pueblo's CASA and a particiapant in their Over the Edge fundraiser in 2021 and looks forward to hopefully helping out in the future for organizations.
